      Hi Dee,

      Although having a juicer can ease the task of preparing fresh juices while preserving the maximum amount of nutrients. Not having a juicer should not prevent you from enjoying fresh juices. Using a simple blender is probably the best way to prepare juices without a juicer. If you just blend all of your ingredients you will get a smoothie. Smoothies have lots of health benefits but those are not the same as juices. You can read about the differences between blended smoothies and juices here. To transform your smoothie into a juice you will need a nut bag (those are sometimes called veggie bags as well). Nut bags are very cheap: you can get a pack of them for just a few dollars. In case you can’t find a nut bag you can use a mesh strainer. Place the nut bag over a bowl ( you can use a glass right away but you will have a lot of cleaning up to do afterwards) and pour your smoothie into the nut bag. Now squeeze gently to get all the liquids out of the nut bag. Pour the extracted liquid into a glass, that is your juice prepared without a juicer! The juice pulp is what you will find left in the nut bag. Most people throw it away but it can be used in cooking. You can find some delicious recipes with juice pulp here.

    Hello Arttemis,
    I recently saw the Youtube video you did with Marci Lock in 2014. I know that’s been a couple years ago, but I was curious if you are still coaching around health issues, and if so, what your rates are? I have a medical diagnosis that science doesn’t seem to offer a lot of hope for. It appears to be largely chronic, returns after antibiotics, and could potentially lead to other debilitating health issues. I am increasingly convinced of the body/mind connection and the information that was discussed with Marci was intriguing. Listening to the conversation, it surely wasn’t coincidental that I became symptomatic within about six weeks of my emotionally abusive husband moved out, prior to a complicated divorce.
